Update on Migration To Omni College Canada For Nurses

🇨🇦 Our new members the goal of OMNI College Canada is to prepare Internationally Educated Nurses for a successful transition into the workforce in Canada. After 18 years of existence, the college truly knows what it takes for an IEN to be successful. All applicants who wish to apply must meet the below minimum admission requirements:
· Be currently registered as an RN in good standing in your country of origin
· Have a minimum of 1125 hours of nursing experience in the last 4 years
· Have achieved a minimum score in an English proficiency test (ie. IELTS, TOEFL)
Once you have made the decision to come to OMNI College the first thing you would need to do would be to attend a free online information session and then write your Entrance Test. During the info sessions, we speak about our programs, our entrance requirements and also on the nursing registration process in Canada. After attending the session, you will have time to ask any questions you may have, to ensure you have all the info you need to make such a life changing decision. You will then, be guided through the next steps in the admissions process.
After attending an online information session, all candidates must also submit an English proficiency test score, along with all other required Enrolment documents. If you have not written the IELTS Academic test, you may be able to take OMNIs English Assessment.
Please note: this assessment is currently available ONLY in Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja and Accra. Future locations for testing will be announced at a later date. All other candidates must submit an IELTS Academic test score.
The Entrance test is called OMNI’s Comprehensive Nursing Assessment. This assessment is an evaluation of your general nursing knowledge. The results provide the college with confirmation that your previous nursing experience meets the minimum required level for admission. It ensures you have the greatest opportunity to be successful in the program.
We have three intakes per year in February, June and October.
